Jennifer McAndrew, Director of Meetings, Conferences and Events

Jennifer is the proud mom of two children, Chase and Bryn, ages 12 and 9. Her husband, Scott, is also her partner in all things planning and business.  

Having completed her BA in 2003, she completed her MBA (Marketing) in 2007. Jennifer is the recent recipient of an outstanding community involvement and leadership award for her dedication and hard work to events, sponsors and planning.  

Jennifer has spent most of her 20+ year event planning career in the non-profit sector, contributing to large scale outdoor productions such as the Weekend to End Breast Cancer and the Ride to Conquer Cancer. She has managed the logistics and events for a major Hospital system, Junior Achievement.  Cystic Fibrosis, the Dave Smith Foundation, Autism Speaks and the Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life. Jennifer also manages 501 ( c ) 3 and 501 ( c ) 6 conferences and events, including their sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, logistics and every other aspect of a successful conference or event.  

In her spare time, Jennifer is on faculty of her local Performing Arts school teaching ballet to students in the community. As well as volunteering as the chair of her local Council and past-president of her local Chapter of Meeting Professionals International, a board member with the Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre and a member of the board for her local Hockey Association.
